The Church of the Nazarene is a
global family. Each Nazarene in 151
world areas deserves to attend the
celebration of our Centennial.
For this reason, on October 5, 2008, the Centennial Celebration will take place across 24 time zones in every local church. Join us as we celebrate 100 years as a Nazarene Denomination.

A Note from the Pastor
Let’s
move some dirt!!! I am pleased to
tell you that the long wait has
finally come to an end. On
July 7th, in the City Commission
Chambers of Fort Pierce, at
approximately 7:20pm, the city
council unanimously approved our
plans to build! Thank you to
the 87 that came to be a part of the
evening, and thanks also to all of
you that couldn’t be with us
physically but have been praying us
through all along. Our next
step is to officially “break
ground.” I expect to do this
within the next 4-6 weeks and have
the ground completely prepped and
ready to begin pouring the
foundation by October. Keep the
prayers coming, they are no doubt
the reason we are at this stage.
Every month seems to bring another new family or two and our worship time has been so incredible that I find myself lying in bed on Saturday night wide awake wondering what the following Sunday morning will hold. If you haven’t been to see us in a while or are a first time visitor, I’d love to see you some day.
Our Vacation Bible School is set for the final week of July. The theme is, “The Wonders of Jesus.” It will be more along the lines of a kid’s week long revival service complete with an original theme song written by Zack and Jody, crafts, sports and featuring an incredible gospel magician from Chicago every night as our special guest speaker. A DVD keepsake video will be given to all parents/guardians as a memory for both the kids and adults alike.
God’s movin’ here at FPC. You can
see it on the faces throughout the
congregation, hear it in the voices
through the Celebration worship
songs, and sense it in your heart as
you enter to worship. For those of
you that live too far away to
experience the Celebration first
hand, technology has allowed us to
bring a portion of the service to
you. Be looking for this addition to
the website in the weeks to come.
